Through the WIC, workforce professionals seeking development can find tools, resources and events related to their field that can contribute to an advancement on their career path.

The WIC hosts an annual DC Workforce Summit for workforce professionals. Workforce professionals can join their colleagues in learning about the latest innovations, resources, programs and people who are leading the way in elevating the District as the “gold standard” in workforce delivery.

The 2026 DC Workforce Summit was held on Friday, September 25th, 2026 at the MLK Jr Memorial Libary.
