A Community of Practice (CoP) is an organized group of professionals who interact regularly to deepen their knowledge, share best practices, and solve common challenges within their specific field. Unlike a traditional project team focused on a specific task, a CoP is a learning partnership centered on the ongoing development of a particular "practice" or professional skill set.
The Workforce Investment Council hosts quarterly Community of Practice meetings to discuss, strategize and solve issues within the District that affect our residents and their ability to attain economic security and self-sufficiency.
